Applications are invited from male Indian Nationals possesing educational qualifications and age as prescribed below, for recruitment to the post of Naviks (General Duty) and Navik (Domestic Branch) in the Indian Coast Guard, and Armed Force of the Union for 02/2011 Batch :

1. Naviks (General Duty) in the Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 - 20200 with Rs.2000 Grade Pay
   
   • 

     Qualification: 10+2 with Maths and Physics from an education board recognised by central/ state government.
   • Age : Born between 01 August 89 and 31 July 93.
2. Naviks (Domestic Branch (Cooks & Stewards) in the Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 - 20200 with Rs.1900 Grade Pay
   
   • Qualification: Matrics (10th Pass).
   • Age : Born between 01 Oct 89 and 30 Sep 93.

The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years of OBC candidates.
