Indian Maritime University invites applications from Indian nationals for faculty positions at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.   The University intends to fill up 40 faculty positions in the following Schools/Departments at IMU Headquarters, Chennai and its Campuses at Mumbai, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam, Cochin and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, Management, Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering.

The reservations for SC/ST/OBC/PH shall be as per Government of India norms.   The details of specializations in various Schools/Departments and requirements in terms of qualification and experience etc., shall be available on our website imu.tn.nic.in.

The University reserves the right not to fill any of the positions or to fill the positions at lower levels.   The University also reserves the right to select candidates with higher qualifications than what is  specified  or  to select candidates who have not applied for the posts or those with different specialization.
