* Those who have already applied in response to Advt. No. 12/2007 for the
post of Law Officer need not apply again.
1. 3% posts are reserved (out of total strength of Lecturers, Readers and Professors) for
Physically handicapped persons with Locomotors disability or Blindness or Low vision,
subject to eligibility, suitability and fitness for the job.
2. The Vice-Chancellor could place before the Selection Committee names of suitable persons
for its consideration along with the applications received in response to the advertisement.
3. If any information supplied by the candidate in his application form is found to be
incorrect/false at any stage, his candidature/selection will stand cancelled.
4. The number of posts can be increased or decreased as per need at time of selection.
5. Conditions given in the Detailed Instructions supplied with the application form shall also be
applicable.
6. University reserves the right not to fill any of the above posts.
7. The candidates at Dr. H.S. Judge Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospitals would be eligible
for NPA as per rules.
8. Grades & Designations of teaching posts are likely to be changed after adoption of New Pay-
scales.

Form Cell, Panjab University, Chandigarh or by post from Assistant Registrar-Estt. (Teaching) from Sr. No. I
to V & in the case of posts mentioned at Sr. No. VI to XXIII from Assistant Registrar (Estt.) by sending a self-
addressed stamped envelope ( worth Rs. 30/-) of 30 cm. X 12 cm . along with fee of Rs. 375/- for General Category
(Rs. 150/- for SC/ST category) through Bank Draft favouring Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh ,
payable at Chandigarh.
The candidates living abroad may apply on plain paper with full bio-data (ten copies), one set of attested copies of testimonials, together with requisite fee through a crossed account payee Bank Draft payable at Chandigarh in favour of the Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Please also attach four sets of reprints of five major publications (out of two could be books or research projects) for the post of Professor, if applied for the post of Reader attach four sets of reprints of three major publications. This condition is not applicable for the posts at Dr. H.S. Judge Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital.
