The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) invites Applications from eligible Candidates for recruitment to 67 Posts of Ayurvedic Medical Officers in the Department of Health & Family Welfare Punjab :
- Ayurvedic Medical Officer : 67 posts, Pay Scales : Rs. 10300-34800/-, Qualification : BAMS or equivalent from a recognized university or institution. (ii) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard., Age : 18-35 years as on 1/1/2010. Age relaxation as per Punjab Govt. rules.
How to Apply :
- Application From complete in all respect along with the DD of Rs.200/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/BC) in favour of Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, should reach the office of Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, Patiala, Punjab.
- IMPORTANT NOTE:
(a) Candidate desirous of applying for any Reserve category are required to attach the
requisite certificate in the prescribed performa in respect of Scheduled Castes,
Backward Classes and Ex-servicemen Punjab along with latest Domicile Certificate
of Punjab State. The Candidates belonging to Backward Classes are required to
attach a declaration alongwith Backward Class certificate that no change occurred in
their status and they do not fall in the section of creamy-layer as per Govt. Letter No.
10/9/2009-RC1/62 dated 08-1-2010.
(b) The bank draft attached to the Application Form on account of fee should not have
been issued before the date of advertisement.
(c) Category once claimed will not be allowed to change under any circumstances.
(d) APPLICANTS MUST POSSESS THE REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS
BY THE LAST DATE FOR THE RECEIPT OF APPLICATION I.E
23.04.2010
(e) Prescribed Essential Qualifications are minimum and mere possession of the same
does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where the number of
applications received in response to the advertisement is large and if it will not be
convenient or possible for the Commission to interview all the candidates, the
Commission may restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable
limit on the basis of short listing them by order of their academic merit as per their
qualification/higher marks OR by holding a screening test.
