Applications are invited upto 5.45 p.m on 19/03/2010 for recruitment to the following Group-I B service posts :

• Scientific Assistant Grade-II in the Tamil Nadu Forensic Science Subordinate Service : 12 posts (Biology-4, Chemistry-5, Physics-3), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 grade pay - Rs.4500
  

Age :

• 18-30  years, relaxation as per TN Govt rules.
  
  Selection by a written test and interview for selected candidates.

• How to Apply : Filled in applications on OMR forms (available at the posts offices in Tamil Nadu/ Pudducherry on payment of Rs.30/-) (Also available at the TNPSC website) must be sent to the Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Omanthoorar Government Estate, Anna Salai, Chennai – 600002 by Registered Post / Speed Post well in advance so as to reach the Commission’s Office before 5.45 p.m. on 19/03/2010.
  
• PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:-Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e., (i) Written Examination and (ii)
  Oral Test in the shape of an interview. (For further details please refer paragraph
  22 (b) of the ‘Instructions, etc. to candidates’).
• ENCLOSURES TO BE SENT ALONG WITH APPLICATION:- (i) Candidates should enclose copies of all certificates (including evidence for
  Educational Qualification possessed by them) as mentioned in para 15 of the
  Commission’s ‘Instructions etc. to candidates’ and item 25 under part – II of
  Information Brochure along with a Postal receipt to the value of Rs.100/- (Rupees One
  hundred only) pasted in the column provided in the application, unless exemption of
  fee is claimed. Original Certificates should not be sent. Those applying Online
  please refer sub para D of para 12 of this Notification / Advertisement.
  (ii) Candidates should also furnish the particulars regarding arrest, convictions,
  debarment or disqualification by UPSC/ State Public Service Commissions,
  participation in agitation or any political organization, candidature in election
  for Parliament / State Legislature / Local Bodies etc., if any, in a separate
  statement along with the application.
• Applications received without the attested copies of certificates as
  specified above will be rejected.
