Other General Conditions
• Relaxation in age limit maximum up to five years and three years in respect of SC/ST and OBC candidates respectively will be admissible to those who apply for the posts reserved for them.
• Equivalence for PhD is based on publication of 5 International Journal papers, each Journal having a cumulative impact index of not less than 2.0, with incumbent as the main author and all 5 publications being in the authors' area of specialization.
• PhD shall be from a recognized University.
• The qualification and the experience prescribed are the minimum and mere possession of the same may not entitle any candidate to be called for interview.
• The Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Institute of Engineering and Technology (PKIET) reserves the right to fill up all the posts or alter the number of posts or even to cancel the whole process of recruitment without assigning any reasons.
• All the applications shall be screened and scrutinized for recommending the names of the candidates to be called for interview. No representations from those not being recommended and not called for the interview will therefore be entertained at any stage.
• Only Short-listed candidates will be called for the interview.
• The applicants employed in Government/Semi-Government/public sectors/Autonomous bodies/statutory bodies and Educational institutions must send their applications through proper channel. However, the advanced copy may be sent so as to reach before the closing date. The original application duly forwarded by the employer may follow and reach positively before the date and time fixed for interview failing which the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
• Application received after the last date will not be entertained. Incomplete applications without the copies of certificates/mark sheets/testimonials will be summarily rejected.
• Those who are appointed will be covered only under CPF scheme.
• Separate application should be submitted for each post.
